Dear Potential Sponsor,
We are pleased to announce that The Pennsylvania Public Health Association will hold its annual conference on October 8, 2009 at the University Club in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh. This year’s conference theme is “Shrinking Dollars, Growing Needs: Proposed Solutions for Pennsylvania’s Health System”. Conference attendees come from a wide range of professions, including not only those who work in the health care industry, but also, those who develop and implement public policy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the State, County and Local levels. Major Universities and their students have also been invited to attend.
We invite you to have a presence at this year’s conference through sponsorship. Our conference provides the opportunity to reach decision-makers in the health field and participate in a forum of public and private sector cooperation. It is also a great venue to network and reach out to the next generation of professionals who are students in our region. Strong partnerships are crucial in these economic conditions and this conference will help to grow, strengthen and reach out to new partners with common goals and objectives.
Sponsors will be acknowledged on the PPHA web site, www.ppha.org and in our conference program. Levels and benefits of sponsorship and description of space are detailed in the enclosed Information Sheet and Registration Form, as well as directions for payment.
If you have any questions, please email our Sponsors Committee Chair, Joan Procopio, RD, LDN at procopiojb@upmc.edu . She may also be reached directly at 412-636-5169 for more information. We look forward to having your response by July 6, 2009.
Sincerely,
Andrea Crivelli-Kovach
